The objective of the school supplies procurement is to ensure the availability of supplies needed in schools’ daily teaching activities in a cost-effective, flexible manner and on consistent terms. The procurement aims to cover schools’ ordinary and recurring needs as well as unforeseen or case-specific additional needs throughout the term of the contract. The tendering is carried out so that the procurement consists of a predefined comparison catalogue as well as supplementary price lists that complement it. The purpose of the supplementary price lists is to cover schools’ individual, varying and additional needs that are not appropriate to include in the actual comparison catalogue.
