TENDER DESCRIPTION

Lump-sum contract for the entire scope. A research facility building owned by Aalto University located in the Otaniemi district of Espoo, at Tietotie 2A. In the project, the current spaces in building A are renovated to suit the user’s functions, and surface renovations are carried out in the spaces. The Department of Economics at the School of Business moves into the premises. A partial change of use has been applied for in the three floors of Tietotie 2A. The office space on the ground floor is converted into a chant room (1 unit) and, in the floor, a new accessible WC + shower + changing room facility is built. The locker room on the 1st floor is converted into meeting and office spaces. The kitchen-dining area on the 2nd floor is converted into a coffee room-seminar space. New partition walls are built in the meeting spaces and ventilation is updated to correspond to the new room layout, and the lighting is renewed. Accessibility of the spaces is improved. The alteration works are mainly targeted at floors 0–3, but alteration works required by building services/technical installations are also targeted outside the alteration areas; see HVAC and other technical systems…
