TENDER DESCRIPTION

KOY Riihimäki Ice Hall (hereinafter the “Contracting Authority” or “Client”) requests tenders for the refurbishment of the ice hall’s IV and LTO systems. The refurbishments aim to improve the utilization of waste heat and the functionality of the facility’s ventilation. Contract: Part 1: a new ventilation unit and ventilation works are included, including demolition work of the existing IV equipment, as well as connections to the heating and cooling pipework of the cold-technology container installed in 2022. The procurement includes, as an option, Part 2: refurbishment of the LTO system, which enables the utilization of waste heat generated in the cold-technology container for heating the service building. For this purpose, underground heating pipework is constructed in the yard area and the necessary changes are made to the service building’s heat distribution equipment. When Part 2 is carried out, the internal electric boiler in the ventilation container is omitted and district heating is used as the reserve/additional heat source for ventilation.
