TENDER DESCRIPTION

Szentendre City Municipality has decided to upgrade the street lighting network, as there is a significant number of Compact fluorescent tubes and sodium lamps in the city, and their manufacture has been discontinued; therefore, they will soon not be available at all, or only with difficulty, and achieving energy efficiency targets also makes it necessary to upgrade the public lighting. The third objective of the upgrade is to increase the service quality and ensure that environmental considerations can be enforced. The underlying principle of the structure is that the winning tenderer advances the investment and implementation costs of the upgrade, and the consideration is reimbursed from the verified electricity savings generated as a result of the upgrade. The sale of HEM (Verified Energy Savings), i.e. the EKR right (Energy Efficiency Obligation System) associated with the measure, is entitled to the winning tenderer in accordance with the applicable legislation.
