TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the Water Framework Directive (WFD), the Amstel, Gooi and Vecht water board (hereinafter referred to as AGV) is obligated to monitor four biological parameters in the WFD water bodies. These four parameters, referred to as quality elements in WFD terms, are phytoplankton, macrofauna, macrophytes, and fish. The monitoring of three of these parameters (phytoplankton, macrofauna and macrophytes) has already been arranged. The fish monitoring is carried out by another external party. The current contract for this expires and AGV is looking for a party to monitor fish in all water bodies throughout the entire WFD plan period SGBP4.
