TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Bergisch-Rhine Water Association (BRW) operates in Erkrath a landfill approved in accordance with waste law regulations for the storage of sewage sludge. The older basins 1 to 3 are currently being rehabilitated. The procurement includes the construction services to be carried out in the second construction phase. This includes the following principal services: Raising/expanding embankments and construction of site roads - Delivery and installation of approx. 65,000 t of soil material to raise/expand the existing perimeter and intermediate embankments - Construction of drainage ditches (approx. 400 m) - Construction of approx. 900 m of site roads (natural stone chippings) Area coverage of Basin 1 - Delivery and installation of approx. 30,000 t of soil material - Profiling and subsequent landscaping (hydroseeding) of approx. 15,000 m² - Construction of drainage ditches (approx. 400 m) - Construction of a retention and settling basin (storage trench) in the north-east of Basin 1 sealed with pond liner foil (approx. 700 m²) For details, see the description of services
