TENDER DESCRIPTION

The 6th Saxony-Anhalt State Garden Show will take place in 2028 in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, a city whose history is inseparably linked to the Reformation. With the Castle Church, the St. Mary’s Town Church, Luther House and the Melanchthon House, it has four UNESCO World Heritage sites. At the same time, Wittenberg is a city on the Elbe. The river landscape shapes its landscape area and forms the transition between the historic old town and the river. The State Garden Show Lutherstadt Wittenberg 2028 is based on the guiding idea “Garden show in the World Heritage”. The so-called Kuhlache forms a central landscape and exhibition area between the historic city and the Elbe. For the sub-area Kuhlache Ost, a preliminary design is available at the stage of service phases 1 and 2 for outdoor facilities in accordance with HOAI 2021. On a revitalisation area of approximately 25,500 m², of which approximately 15,000 m² are perennial planting areas, a high-quality landscape park that can be used on a permanent basis is to be created.
