TENDER DESCRIPTION

The initial principal of the assets included in the City of Kuhmo’s investment operations dates from 2002, when the City established, by a decision of the City Council on 21.2.2002, § 18, a development fund whose initial principal was EUR 12,500,000.00. The purpose of the fund is to promote Kuhmo’s business life, enhance its attractiveness, and ensure the financing of significant basic service investment projects in line with the Kuhmo strategy. The investment assets have developed as a result of returns from investment operations. The amount of cash funds changes depending on how the annual operating income funding is sufficient to finance the operating costs and investments. Approximately EUR 26 million of the City’s liquid assets as of 30.9.2026 is estimated to be investable on a long-term basis. The City will tender this investment asset in two (2) separate procurement lots, where the subject of each lot is, as a starting point, full discretionary management of an approximately EUR 13 million securities portfolio, including equity and fixed-income investments, in accordance with the principles and limitations defined in the City’s investment policy.
