TENDER DESCRIPTION

The initial capital of the assets included in the investment operations of the City of Kuhmo originates from 2002, when the city established, by decision § 18 of the City Council on 21.2.2002, a development fund with an initial capital of EUR 12,500,000.00. The purpose of the fund is to promote Kuhmo’s business life and attractiveness and to ensure funding for significant basic service investments in accordance with the Kuhmo Strategy. The investment assets have developed as a result of returns from investment activity. The amount of cash funds changes depending on how the annual income funding is sufficient to cover operating costs and to finance investments. Approximately EUR 26 million of the city’s liquid funds as of 30.9.2026 are estimated to be investable long term. The city will tender this investment asset in two (2) separate procurement lots, in which each procurement lot is, as a starting point, approximately EUR 13 million full discretionary asset management for a securities portfolio, including equity and fixed-income investments in accordance with the principles and limitations defined in the city’s investment policy.
