TENDER DESCRIPTION

The joint authority for education in Rovaniemi requests your tender for a fibre laser cutting machine. The subject of the procurement is a fibre laser cutting machine for use by the Lapland Education Centre REDU. The equipment will be acquired as part of the EAKR-funded Lapland Industry TKI Path investment project, the objective of which is to update REDU’s machine and metal sector learning environments. The equipment procurement enables students in the field to learn with modern tools and revitalises the operations of SMEs by providing a channel to develop their functions with modern equipment. The project also supports the development of broader regional TKI cooperation by being part of REDU’s systematic development of learning environments. The acquired equipment will be used in the Lapland Industry TKI Path project, in which various projects are carried out together with the project’s pilot and target group companies. The equipment will also be used for teaching in machine and production engineering.
