TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of procurement is the purchase and delivery of a remotely operated underwater robot (ROV) and training of employees for handling the supplied equipment. The underwater robot will be used for monitoring the status of vegetation on the bottom of the lake and in the coastal strip, and for taking water and sediment samples for further analyses required to monitor the conservation status of aquatic ecosystems and target habitat types, in accordance with the project “Improved management of habitat and species conservation in the Plitvička Lakes National Park”. The selected tenderer is required, upon handover of the equipment, to organize and carry out basic technical training for five (5) operators at the Contracting Authority’s location (Plitvička Lakes National Park). The training must include: o Proper assembly, preparation and calibration of the ROV system before diving. o Basics of operating the software application (navigation, use of AI functions and advanced sensors). o Maintenance procedures after the dive (rinsing in fresh water, maintaining seals and storing batteries).
