TENDER DESCRIPTION

The northern connection associated with this tender between the Bft Weddewarder Tief of the Bremen Harbour Railway and the KV facility Rail Gate Bremerhaven (abbreviated RGB) is created with a feed track that connects north of the RGB to the harbour railway. It runs in a curve with a minimum radius of 190 m. From the loading tracks, the five switches 791 to 795 taper onto the feed track of the northern connection. This ensures accessibility to all loading and entry/exit tracks. The feed track will be equipped with track-bearing slabs in the area of the railway crossing. In addition, approximately 150 m of the about 250 m long feed track is also constructed with track-bearing slabs to allow crossing of the track in the terminal and a VC crossing. The area of the connecting switch W801 is located in the control area of the signal box Stf, which will be adapted to the new track configuration. The switches of the KV facility itself will be equipped with an EOW system upgraded to a shunting signal box. All six switches will receive switch heaters.
