TENDER DESCRIPTION
The northern connection associated with this tender between the Bft Weddewarder Tief of the Bremen Port Railway and the KV facility Rail Gate Bremerhaven (abbreviated RGB) is constructed with a feeder track that connects to the port railway north of the RGB. It runs in a curve with a minimum radius of 190 m. Starting from the loading tracks, the five switches 791 to 795 narrow onto the feeder track of the northern connection. This ensures accessibility of all loading and entry/exit tracks. The feeder track is equipped with track bearing plates in the area of the railway crossing. Furthermore, the approximately 250 m long feeder track is constructed with track bearing plates over about 150 m to enable the crossing of the track within the terminal and a VC crossing. The area of the connection switch W801 is located in the control area of the signal box Stf, which will be adapted to the new track configuration. The switches of the KV facility itself will be equipped with an upgraded EOW system connected to the shunting signal box. All six switches will have switch heating.
