TENDER DESCRIPTION

Sansia Oy establishes a dynamic purchasing system through which, in accordance with the needs of the contracting entities, medicinal products and comparable preparations are procured as separate procurements. Under this system, it is intended to competitively tender medicinal products as separate procurements for which, for one reason or another, there is no currently valid agreement in respect of the competitively tendered pharmaceutical tenders, or where the market situation has changed during the term of the agreement in such a way that the price is significantly reduced; as a result, the preceding agreement will be terminated and competitively tendered again. Such situations may arise, for example, in connection with the expiry of a patent, when new preparations enter the market, or when a national agreement ends, or for some reason the agreement for a preparation ends prematurely during the term of the agreement. The medicinal products to be procured and the products comparable thereto are defined in more detail in each internal competitive tendering under the dynamic purchasing system.
