TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction project involves the renovation of a two-storey school building with a gable roof and rendered façade, which was built extensively in the 1950s. The Fritz-Reuter school centre is located in Dömitz directly on the Bundesstraße B195. The campus includes a primary school and a lower secondary school as well as the grammar school (Gymnasium). The work is carried out exclusively in the lower secondary school part. The surrounding building sections of the school continue to operate throughout the construction period. This construction project is a funded measure. The measures form part of the 2nd construction phase in the existing building (gross floor area approx. 2,100 m2) of Building 3. The existing room layout is partly changed by demolition and the erection of individual walls. These interventions result in additional work in areas of floor, wall and ceiling. In addition, the windows are renovated. The building services (plant and services) are also renewed and the installation of a lift is planned to ensure barrier-free access to the existing building.
