TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract award service includes the collection, franking as well as the nationwide and international transportation and delivery of all kinds of mail items of the contracting authority (physical mail dispatch) up to an individual weight of 2,000 grams as well as the collection of incoming mail at the mail center (contracting authority’s mailbox) and its delivery to the contracting authority’s mailroom. The transportation of mail items in standard format (so-called standard letter items) forms the main subject of the postal services to be provided. Postal delivery orders are not part of the procedure. No lotting tender takes place. The majority of the physical mail (over 90 percent) is addressed to recipients in Baden-Württemberg.
