TENDER DESCRIPTION

This procurement concerns additional school transport services. The contract period is 1.1.2027–30.06.2029. ORDER REQUEST DESCRIPTION: For the pupils, transport will primarily be arranged by making use of existing public transport connections, taking the pupils’ timetables into account and if there is capacity on the route in question. If there is no suitable route or if there is no capacity on the pupil transport route running at the time, the City of Lappeenranta will arrange transport for the pupil by using this framework agreement. During the contract period, transport orders are placed by requesting tenders for each individual transport service from each Transport Operator included in the framework agreement. The submission deadline for the tender request depends on how quickly the transport is needed. Tenders are requested primarily by email, describing, among other things, the subject of the procurement and the time. If the email request does not yield results, the Contracting Authority requests secondarily tenders by telephone.
