TENDER DESCRIPTION

This is a procurement for additional school transport services. The contract period of the procurement is 1.1.2027–30.06.2029. ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS DESCRIPTION: For students, transport is arranged primarily by using existing public transport connections, taking into account the students’ timetables and, where applicable, that there is capacity on the route. If there is no suitable route or there is no capacity on the student transport running on that route, the City of Lappeenranta arranges transport for the student by using this framework agreement. During the contract period, transport orders are placed by requesting offers for each individual transport from each Transport Operator included in the framework agreement. The deadline for submitting a request for tender depends on how quickly the transport is needed. Offers are requested primarily by email, describing at least the subject and the time of the procurement. If the email request does not produce results, the Contracting Authority requests offers secondarily by telephone.
