LD2 Phase 3 - Domestic Fire Detection and Alarm Upgrade of 409 Properties across Cornwall

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Corserv Solutions Ltd on behalf of Cornwall Housing Ltd are seeking to appoint 2 suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the following works. The works comprise of Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Certification required to upgrade 409 domestic flats from an existing Grade D1 Category LD3 fire detection arrangement to a Grade D1 Category LD2 RF-interlinked. The successful Service Providers shall provide a complete and operational installation in each property, making use of the existing mains powered alarm system where it is suitable for continued service and compatible with the required RF interlinking. The Service Providers shall satisfy itself at tender stage that it understands the scope, commercial basis, evidence requirements and risks associated with working in occupied homes across a geographically dispersed housing portfolio.
