TENDER DESCRIPTION
The subject of the tender is LDAR measurement services for the detection, quantification, documentation and reporting of methane emissions in the pipeline network as well as at selected stations of Gasunie Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2024/1787 on the reduction of methane emissions in the energy sector. The services particularly include carrying out measurements at source level on gas-loaded components in compressor stations as well as measurement and control stations, quantifying detected methane emissions, marking and documenting identified leaks, and preparing auditable reports. Measurements are carried out primarily according to LDAR Type 2, taking into account relevant technical rules and standards, including EN 15446, EPA Method 21, EPA Protocol for Equipment Leak Emission Estimates, and the relevant DVGW regulations. Furthermore, site-specific measurements may be requested for plausibility checks and to reconcile source and site emissions, as well as other demand-based special measurements.
