TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the deconstruction and new construction of the children’s and youth facility “Wilde Rübe”, structural engineering services, LP 1 to 6, will be awarded. The building from the 1970s is structurally obsolete, with limited kitchen use and poorly lit rooms without a reference to a garden. The sanitary facilities are also outdated and arranged unfavourably. In addition, the building currently cannot be operated independently of the adjacent daycare centre. The media systems, e.g. heating, are connected to the daycare centre, so work there has direct consequences for the “Wilde Rübe”. Therefore, all media are to be laid separately and connected. The building structure as well as the daycare centre consist of Variel room modules with reinforced-concrete frames. The roof structure consists of steel beams and trapezoidal sheet metal profiles. According to the hazardous-substance reports, hazardous substances have been identified in the building. For the new build, the costs for proper disposal of building components contaminated with hazardous substances must be taken into account.
