The tender concerns main meals and side dishes for citizens of Gentofte Municipality’s care homes (nursing homes), including day care centres, as well as main meals and side dishes for citizens at the Center for Rehabilitation and Prevention (CRF). Gentofte Municipality wishes to offer food that is inviting, appetising and tasty, and of high nutritional as well as food hygiene quality. The municipality also wants citizens to be provided with food that ensures the necessary intake of energy and nutrients and complies with the standards and recommendations applicable at any given time in the field. Gentofte Municipality focuses on minimising malnutrition among citizens in the municipality’s nursing homes, users of day care centres and inpatients at the CRF, and the supplier must support that their food supports the dining environment, including the plating/presentation of the food. It is the supplier’s task to offer a meal that, from a culinary and nutritional perspective, makes it possible to cater to each individual citizen’s needs and wishes, so that malnutrition can be avoided.
