TENDER DESCRIPTION

The flushing truck is an essential vehicle for the operation and maintenance of the fuel farm at Brussels Airport Company. It is used for specific maintenance activities necessary for the compliant and safe operation of both the fuel farm and the hydrant network, including: • Removing water and sediments that accumulate at the low points of the hydrant network; • Venting the high points of the hydrant network (to release trapped air bubbles); • Flushing and inspecting hydrant pit shut-off valves; • Pumping and loading Jet A1 fuel from parts of the hydrant network and from recovery or test tanks. A delivery contract will be concluded with a duration consisting of the delivery period and a 2-year warranty period which begins as soon as an accepted site acceptance test has taken place. Linked to this, a maintenance contract will also be concluded which starts as soon as the warranty period ends and has a duration of 13 years.
