TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this contract is to combat Lumpy skin disease (LSD) during an outbreak in the Netherlands. The contracting authority wishes to conclude an Agreement for the Delivery, keeping in stock and distribution of vaccines against the LSD virus. See chapter 2.5 of the tender document. Maximum contract value €5,820,000,- excluding VAT. The total scope of the contract and thus the total contract value is, in view of the unpredictability (unpredictability of animal disease outbreaks), difficult to estimate. The actual scope of the contract depends on whether a crisis breaks out, the size of such a crisis and the number of outbreaks during such a crisis. For the finally estimated contract value, therefore, the qualification must be made that this value is uncertain and may turn out to be substantially lower or higher. The contractor cannot derive any rights from the estimated/maximum value and quantities, given the above.
