The core scope of work for this tender involves the creation of an asynchronous online training environment and the virtualization of several courses.

The Statement of Work summary and core deliverables include:

• Project Management: Direction of the project.
• Content Development:
• Elaboration of content scripts, based on both the awarded company's materials and material provided by UPC.
• Design and pedagogical adaptation of the content.
• Selection and incorporation of images.
• Layout and editing of content.
• Recording and editing of videos and voiceovers, as needed.
• Linguistic review of materials, incorporating a gender perspective and avoiding sexist discrimination in language and images.
• Assessment and Activities:
• Elaboration of questionnaires and practical activities.
• Configuration of the continuous assessment system for generating the final grade.
• Interactive Elements:
• Generation of animations, practical and interactive simulation demonstrations, and practical exercises.
• Platform Integration:
• Structuring and incorporation of learning resources (links, videos, files, etc.).
• Construction of modules and uploading all developed content to the UPC's Moodle platform.
• Downloadable content in PDF format.
• Configuration and design of the Moodle classroom according to the functionalities required for the virtual course, including necessary revisions for correct functioning.
• Software Provision: The awarded company must provide the necessary software for editing and updating content for a minimum of four years post-contract, prioritizing free software where possible.
• Quality Assurance: Verification of the functioning of course sequence (forward and backward navigation), videos, and animations.
• Language: The language for training activities will be Catalan, and for the virtual environment, teaching, and all training materials and resources, it must be English.
• Pedagogical Characteristics:
• Training activities must be designed to enable participants to assimilate theoretical content and apply it practically, combining theoretical knowledge with practical examples and exercises.
• Content must be clear and simple, utilizing multimedia and pedagogical resources with adequate participant interaction.
• Each module must explicitly state its objectives and the competencies to be acquired. Activities are structured so that progression to the next unit requires completion of previous units.
• Units must have a simple, intuitive navigation system with an interactive index.
• Virtual training activities will include a welcome unit, interactive content divided into didactic units, videos, and infographics with concepts.
• Project Coordination: Prior meetings will be held for project initiation, content definition, and coordination between SDP and other UPC content owners/work areas with the company's designated personnel.
• Reporting: The awarded company must submit a training program for each course (including course presentation, learning objectives, content, competencies, methodologies, and evaluation system) and a didactic guide detailing how content will be worked on and the methodology to be used.
• Personnel: The contractor must designate a contract manager to oversee execution and ensure quality. The awarded company must ensure students have the same tutor throughout the course, unless force majeure necessitates a change, which must be communicated.
• Technical Requirements: The awarded company must indicate in the technical proposal the minimum technical requirements for devices accessing the virtual environment.
