TENDER DESCRIPTION

Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH plans, within the scope of the maintenance program, the full renewal of the track switch at the Paris Gate in the Mainz-Hechtsheim district. The bill of quantities (Appendix B1) includes the delivery and provision of brand-new rails. All services shall be carried out taking into account the applicable technical regulations (e.g. VDV guidelines, Ril 800, DIN EN 13674). Quantities: • 1 item of track switch W84 / W85 from rail profile 49E1 to prestressed concrete sleepers (spacing 680 mm), track gauge 1000 mm. Delivery: Calendar week 24 / 2027 shall be considered the binding delivery date. Delivery of all materials shall be free site (DAP) upon request by the contracting authority. Other: The rail spacing shall be agreed in advance with the contracting authority. The maximum length of the switch span is 15.00 m.
