TENDER DESCRIPTION

As a municipal multi-utility supplier, Stadtwerke Forchheim (SWF) operates multiple divisions and thereby assumes central energy-industry market roles (among others, supplier, grid operator and meter point operator). The energy-industry business processes required for this, in particular in the context of market communication, are currently handled using an existing, multi-part system landscape. The technical operation of meter points is the responsibility of SWF; the Smart Meter Gateway is provided by an external service provider. The operation currently takes place on-premises in SWF’s data centre. Against the backdrop of the strategic further development of the existing product landscape and the anticipated end of support for individual systems in use, SWF aims to replace the existing ERP and billing landscape with an integrated, future-proof solution.
