TENDER DESCRIPTION

Stadtwerke Forchheim (SWF) operates, as a municipal multi-utility provider, several business segments and thereby assumes central energy-sector market roles (among others: supplier, grid operator and metering point operator). The energy-related business processes required for this, in particular in the context of market communication, are currently handled through an existing, multi-part system landscape. The technical metering point operation is the responsibility of SWF; the smart meter gateway is provided by an external service provider. At present, operations are carried out on-premises in the SWF data centre. Against the background of the strategic further development of the existing product landscape and the foreseeable end of support for specific systems in use, SWF pursues the goal of replacing the existing ERP and billing landscape with an integrated, future-proof solution.
