TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this procurement procedure is the supply of school-bound mobile end devices (laptops, notebooks and tablets excluding smartphones), the required accessories, in particular input and output devices, and cases or bags required to protect the devices, as well as optional extensions of the statutory warranty. A survey of the schools under the responsibility of the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt has resulted in a total need of 345 teacher service devices and 142 student loan devices. As the procurement procedure follows previous funding measures for digital end devices, the schools already have a strong interest, for reasons of necessary compatibility, in procuring again primarily the same mobile end devices.
