TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this procurement procedure is the delivery of school-bound mobile end devices (laptops, notebooks and tablets excluding smartphones), the required accessories, in particular input and output devices, as well as cases or bags required to protect the devices and, optionally, extensions of the statutory warranty. A survey of the schools under the sponsorship of the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt resulted in a total requirement of 345 teachers’ service devices and 142 student loan devices. Since this procurement procedure follows on from previous funding measures for digital end devices, the schools have a strong interest, for reasons of the necessary compatibility, in procuring again predominantly the same mobile end devices.
