The associated real-time simulator shall compute realistic models of low-, medium- and high-voltage grids as well as local network transformers in real time and, in addition, make it possible to run the real-time simulation of power-electronic components, if necessary with support from FPGA. The connection design of the analog and digital input and output interfaces may be implemented using D-Sub connector plugs. Other equivalent connector plugs are also permissible, provided that the electrical and functional requirements demanded in this performance specification are met. The RCP-PHIL power converter converts the setpoint variables of the real-time simulator into physical voltage and current signals and must be able to supply parts of a hardware low-voltage replication (not part of the offer).
