The following technical short summary presents the key points of the intended target architecture and the scope of services to be procured in a condensed form. It serves to provide a clear classification of the overall project and, in particular, summarizes the fundamental requirements for the target hardware, virtualization/HCI platform, availability, network, VDI, backup, infrastructure components as well as the associated operating and support services ("IT system landscape"). Renewal of the existing virtualization environment by 3 VM cluster nodes and 2 VDI cluster nodes, supplemented by 1 separate physical Witness/Quorum server, 1 physical backup/repository server, 1 rackmount NAS and 1 physical control/infrastructure server. The VM and VDI clusters are based on the same hypervisor/HCI product family, a uniformly supported platform stack, and a shared management and administration architecture.
