TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement procedure is the delivery and installation of a new container gantry crane system for the Contargo-Rhein-Waal-Lippe terminal in Emmerich am Rhein. The system replaces an existing, worn-out crane and is intended to ensure trimodal handling of containers between inland vessels, storage area, trucks, and trains. The crane system must be suitable for handling 20', 30', 40', 45' ISO and high-cube containers and shall be designed as a single-girder overhead crane. The technical specifications include a runway length of approximately 260 m, a track gauge of 48,250 mm, and a lifting capacity of 50,000 kg at the hoist and 36,000 kg under the spreader. The handling performance shall be at least 27 moves per hour in three-shift operation. The crane runway has already been renovated and equipped with a new crane rail AS86. The system must comply with current safety and noise protection requirements and be designed for an operational lifespan of at least 25 years. Twin operation is not planned.
