TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract pharmacy provides the following services to the youth detention centre Raßnitz and the penal institutions Burg (including the facility for serving sentences involving accommodation in preventive detention), Halle and Volkstedt: a. Delivery and disposal of prescription-only medicines applying correspondingly Section 4 (prescription-only medicines) paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of the Medicines Directive/AM-RL, b. Delivery of medical devices (Section 2 of the Ordinance governing the supply of medical devices (Medizinprodukte-Abgabeverordnung – (MPAV)), c. Administrative services, d. Information and advice (Section 20 of the Pharmacy Operating Regulations – (ApBetrO)). The obligation to supply prescription-only medicines also includes maintaining an adequate basic stock of antiviral medicines and the provision of vaccines to supply prisoners in the event of a pandemic.
