TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is the delivery of approx. 450 t per year of iron(II) sulfate on the basis of the attached framework agreement as a phosphate precipitation agent in the aeration stage of the Halle-Nord wastewater treatment plant. The iron(II) sulfate is delivered at the request of the contracting authority (CA) by road/lorry (approx. 24 t–26 t) using a push-floor vehicle to the site Halle-Nord wastewater treatment plant Zum Teich 6 06120 Halle (Saale) The CA estimates the quantity to be taken over at approx. 450 t per year over a term of 2 years and has the option, at its discretion, to extend the contract by a further year. Since the actual quantity to be taken over depends on the required dosing of the quantity for the desired biological degradation process and also on the composition of the wastewater in the aeration stage as well as the prevailing temperatures, the actual quantity cannot be predicted. The contractor (AN) must therefore, during the term of the contract, assume quantity reductions and quantity increases of at least 20% with regard to the required dosing, depending on the condition of the wastewater.
