TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority in this procurement procedure is KRN Kommunalverkehr Rhein-Nahe GmbH. The contracting authority is a 100% company of the counties of Bad Kreuznach and Mainz-Bingen and the city of Bad Kreuznach. The contracting authority’s business purpose is to provide services of local public passenger transport (ÖPNV) in the transport area of the aforementioned companies. With this call for tenders, KRN procures HVO100 fuel. KRN estimates that it will require approximately 1,200,000 litres of HVO100 fuel per year. The quantity information reflects the current status of KRN’s estimate and may change during the course of the tender. Deliveries will take place from 01.01.2027 to 31.12.2029 (basic contract term), with a unilateral option for KRN to extend the delivery period until 31.12.2030. The option must be exercised in writing by KRN by 31.10.2028. The HVO100 fuel is to be delivered to the contracting authority’s depot, Ringstraße 128a, 55543 Bad Kreuznach. The tank station capacity at KRN is approximately 200,000 litres.
