TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority in this procurement procedure is KRN Kommunalverkehr Rhein-Nahe GmbH. The contracting authority is a 100% subsidiary company of the districts of Bad Kreuznach, Mainz-Bingen and the city of Bad Kreuznach. The contracting authority’s business purpose is to provide public local passenger transport services (ÖPNV) in the transport area of the above-mentioned contracting entities. With this tender, KRN procures HVO100 fuel. KRN estimates that approximately 1,200,000 litres of HVO100 fuel are needed per year. The quantity stated reflects the current status of KRN’s assessment and may change during the course of the tender. The deliveries shall take place from 01.01.2027 to 31.12.2029 (base term) with a unilateral option for KRN to extend the delivery period until 31.12.2030. The option must be exercised by KRN in writing by 31.10.2028. The HVO100 fuel is to be delivered, respectively, to the contracting authority’s depot, Ringstraße 128a, 55543 Bad Kreuznach.
