TENDER DESCRIPTION

This tender procedure concerns the conclusion of a supply contract for the supply of green electricity under a portfolio model for defined DFKI sites for the period from 01.01.2027 to 31.12.2029. A portfolio model is to be used which offers the possibility to purchase EEX standard trading products (year, quarter, month) in trading volumes of a maximum of 0.035 MW (smaller trading volumes for DFKI are desirable) for OTC quotations or the published settlement prices and which performs the balancing (both positive and negative) of residual quantities against quarter-hour spot market prices EPEX Spot in the market area DE-LU. Based on experience from the past, a total demand of approx. 3,500 MWh/year is expected. However, this information is non-binding; the contractor is obliged, depending on the actual demand of DFKI, to supply all over- or under-quantities. During the term of the contract, the contractor is the exclusive electricity supplier for the off-take points of DFKI covered by the contract.
