TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Subject matter and purpose of the tender As a public-law disposal authority, the Waste Management Agency of the district of Uelzen (AWB) awards, in the Open Procedure (in accordance with GWB and VgV), the supply of 2 brand-new waste collection vehicles (rear-loading refuse vehicles) including lifter systems on a pan-European basis. The vehicles will be used for the collection of organic waste and residual waste in the district area. 2. Key technical specifications of the vehicles The procurement is divided into three functional main components, which must be delivered ready for operation as a complete vehicle assembled by the supplier: • Vehicle chassis (Item 1): Three-axle low-entry chassis (6×2, Low-Entry, e.g. Mercedes Econic or equivalent) for a crew of 3 persons. The legally permissible gross vehicle weight is 26,000 kg, the maximum vehicle height is 3,600 mm and the exterior color is Orange (RAL 2011).
