TENDER DESCRIPTION

The IGS Lindenau in Hanau is a cross-type (integrated) comprehensive school with an upper secondary level equivalent to a grammar school. It is located on the outskirts of the Hanau district Großauheim at Rue de Conflans 4. The school grounds currently consist of five building units. The IGS Lindenau is to be expanded into an eight-track cross-type comprehensive school with a four-track grammar school upper level. To meet the required space demand, an additional building unit is to be constructed as a freestanding 3-storey extension new building. The main entrance faces the existing buildings. Part of the tender includes facade metal construction works (windows and exterior doors). Installation will take place in masonry and reinforced concrete openings. Window bands are to be executed as window elements and post-and-beam systems for multi-part facade elements. The post-and-beam element in the forum area is also to be equipped with RWA skylights.
