L’objecte principal del projecte és la restauració ambiental i paisatgística de l’espai afectat per l’antiga activitat extractiva de pissarra “Rec Barraca Gran”, situada dins l’àmbit del Parc Natural del Cap de Creus, al terme municipal de Roses. La restauració es planteja com una actuació correctora i compensatòria per l’abandonament de l’activitat sense haver-se completat les obligacions de restauració establertes en el seu moment.

The main purpose of the project is the environmental and landscape restoration of the area affected by the former slate extraction activity “Rec Barraca Gran”, located within the scope of the Cap de Creus Natural Park, in the municipality of Roses. The restoration is proposed as a corrective and compensatory measure for the abandonment of the activity without having completed the restoration obligations established at the time.
