TENDER DESCRIPTION

To date, the Paris Austerlitz Technicentre uses a Y5000 shunting locomotive to carry out shunting operations for railway rolling stock in order to carry out the various maintenance operations for which it is responsible. This shunting locomotive is very obsolete, energy-intensive and unreliable, which results in very high operating and maintenance costs. For this reason, the Technicentre intends to acquire a new autonomous means of moving trains (including locomotives), named “LOCMA” in this contract specification document (CDC), in order to limit its environmental impact, reduce its energy costs, secure its production and improve the quality of working life for its staff.
