TENDER DESCRIPTION
As part of the project “Construction of a large heat storage system and its hydraulic integration into the district heating distribution at the HKW West site” (overall project WSPW) of Stadtwerke Karlsruhe, a heat storage system is to be implemented to ensure sustainable, future-capable and secured heat supply. Through hydraulically decoupled integration into the district heating network via a separate supply and return system, the heat storage system is intended to help compensate for fluctuations in load as well as to temporally decouple heat generation and heat consumption. Under this procurement, complete and functional shut-off and control valves are to be supplied that are required for the intended operation within the specified delivery limits.
