The client, the municipality of Barleben, plans the construction of a new doctors’ house with 5 practices at Hansenstraße 42 in 39179 Barleben. On the attic storey there are also storage rooms for the tenants. The building consists of a ground floor, an upper floor and a roof storey. The building will not be provided with a basement. The building stands freely on the plot. The new build will be carried out as a conventional masonry construction with reinforced concrete slabs and a pitched roof. The roof is executed as a traditional timber load-bearing structure with brick covering and thermal insulation. The structural bracing of the building is ensured via wall and ceiling panels sized appropriately. The foundation is made using a reinforced concrete base slab with surrounding strip footings / frost skirts. The construction site can be reached via Ernst-Thälmann-Straße and Hansenstraße.
