The client, the municipality of Barleben, plans the construction of a doctors' office building with 5 practices at Hansenstraße 42 in 39179 Barleben. In the attic storeys there are also storage rooms for the tenants. The building consists of a ground floor, an upper floor and a roof storey. The building is not underpinned with a basement. The building is set freely on the plot of land. The new build is to be constructed as a conventional brickwork structure with reinforced concrete ceilings and a gable roof. The roof is to be designed as a traditional timber supporting structure with clay-tile roofing and thermal insulation. The building’s lateral stability is ensured through sufficiently dimensioned wall and ceiling panels.
