TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the electrification of the AKN line A1 or the future S-Bahn line S5 between Hamburg-Eidelstedt and Kaltenkirchen, the existing stabling yard Ulzburg Süd will be comprehensively modernized and fully electrified. The measure includes the dismantling and reconstruction of track and turnout facilities, the construction of train formation, stabling and interior cleaning facilities, as well as extensive civil engineering works. In addition, the construction of line and media infrastructure for electricity, water and wastewater, the construction of pumping stations, shafts, tanks and drainage facilities, and the construction of overhead line foundations, service paths, platform canopies and operational areas are planned. The construction services will be carried out in sections while rail operations are ongoing and also include cable pulling and connection works, the construction of supply facilities, and fencing of the entire site. The aim is to create a modern, fully functional stabling and service facility for the future electric S-Bahn operation.
