TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the Southwest Finland Regional State Administrative Agency (Lounais-Suomen elinvoimakeskus) is to procure a heavy transport service for the Archipelago Sea area. The procured heavy transport service is intended to serve the permanent residents of the archipelago and the archipelago’s business activities that, due to the lack of adequate road, ferry, or passenger-boat connections, do not have sufficient connection services. Customers order transport directly from the service provider. The heavy transport service is offered to customers during the open-water season, mainly in April–November. The procurement documents set out the requirements for the vessels to be used, the service level of the contract, and the service quality requirements.
