TENDER DESCRIPTION

The planned new building of the Allmend primary school building aims to create a future-proof, sustainable and pedagogically functional infrastructure for primary education levels 1 to 6. The four-storey building structure will be erected on the school site using conventional timber construction and will replace the existing outdoor sports facility (“Roter Platz”). The geological and hydrogeological conditions on the site are considered challenging. In particular, two groundwater strata that must be separated from each other are to be taken into account. The subsoil requires pile foundations (concrete displacement bored piles), including for service lines and inspection manholes (timber piles). With regard to flood protection, the new building meets the requirements of HQ300-. Building services will be placed on the ground floor and the topmost storey (no basement) to prevent damage caused by flood events.
