TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Luther Memorials Foundation of Saxony-Anhalt is renovating the Luther House in the Luther city of Wittenberg. The project is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) with federal funds as well as by the State Chancellery and the Ministry of Culture of the State of Saxony-Anhalt. The renovation measure aims at energy-efficient refurbishment and improving tourist access. The Wittenberg Luther House houses the world's largest museum on the history of the Reformation with extensive collections of pictures, writings and exhibits from the Reformation period as well as testimonies of the reception history of Martin Luther and the Reformation. In connection with the energy-efficient renovation and touristic development, the permanent exhibition will be reconceptualized and the exhibition spaces redesigned. This includes the entrance area for visitors to the Luther House. This entrance area is the "competition area." For the entrance area, the Luther Memorials Foundation of Saxony-Anhalt, as the client, is announcing a realization competition for art in architecture.
