TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Luther Memorials Foundation in Saxony-Anhalt is renovating the Luther House in the Luther city of Wittenberg. The project is financed by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) with federal funding as well as by the State Chancellery and the Ministry of Culture of the State of Saxony-Anhalt. The renovation measure aims at energy-efficient refurbishment and the improvement of tourist development. The Wittenberg Luther House hosts the world's largest Reformation history museum with extensive collections of images, writings and exhibits from the Reformation period as well as testimonies of the reception history of Martin Luther and the Reformation. In connection with the energy renovation and tourist development, the permanent exhibition will be newly conceived and the exhibition rooms redesigned. This includes the entrance area for visitors to the Luther House. This entrance area is the "competition area". For the entrance area, the Luther Memorials Foundation in Saxony-Anhalt as the client is announcing a realization competition for Art in Architecture.
